Someone said to me earlier this year, as I was smack-dab in the middle of an identity crisis, “Do anything, but for God's sake, do something.” 

Now, I may not have a sure sense of my own ability to accomplish anything great, but I think I can do something, right?  So I decided to start small… and tackle global poverty.  

So when a friend who needed help asked me to join her in a work she had started several years ago, I jumped and tried to refrain from singing the hallelujah chorus.

   We call our non-profit Who Cares?, and our aim is to provide support for those who work with the world's poorest and most marginalized people.  We do this by linking those established workers with a network of professionals here in the west who want to volunteer their skills to make the world a more beautiful place.

That's my dream.
